Bicycle Breakfast (June, 2008)
The second annual "Biker's Breakfast," was held on Sunday June 8th. Despite torrential rain, a good showing of hardy cyclists and community members braved the weather to enjoy a hot tasty meal of pancakes, sausages, ham, rhubarb sauce, apple sauce, coffee and juice. The granola pancakes were a huge success. Immediately following the breakfast, there was a blessing of the bicycles. Proceeds from the breakfast, with matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, were spilt between the Allied Drive Boys and Girls club and the local food pantry in Mazomanie.
