Souper Bowl Sunday (February, 2008)
Thank you to everyone who made soup and/or participated in the 1st annual “Souper Bowl” luncheon. Due to the generosity of those who ate the traditional Ukrainian borsht (Naomi Shep’s specialty), the Brett Favre family chili and the potato/ham chowder, we raised $414 dollars to donate to Lutheran seminary support! This was certainly a fun way to enjoy each other’s company and meet the $400 commitment we have in our annual budget for seminary support.
